See It is a cheaply made car and dents very easily. ***HYUNDAI NEEDS TO MAKE THIS RIGHT***, Purchased the new 2017 elantra in 2017 and paid extra for white pearl - December 2022 and strips pf paint peeling off roof - dealer where I purchased car said there's a recall but since they don't have a paint/body shop associated with dealership I should take it to one that does - made appt and was told it was a factor defect and they would submit the claim - after a month and no reply I spoke to rep on Friday 2/10/23 who told me claim was pending and that manager would call me back in a short while - nobody called so I start all over again tomorrow - it doesn't take a month to tell me they're going to repaint it so getting ready for bad news and a fight Dealer rep did tell me that Hyundai extended the paint warranty from 3 years to 5 years but seems there's a long list of upset owners. There has to be a way we can all join forces ?
